Formerly known as Johnson Street Dental, this office has beneficially impacted the lives of local families in the Red Bluff community for over 40 years. It is our mission at Stroing and White Dental to continue to serve our neighbors in this well known office. We feel comfortable treating patients of all ages, and can’t wait to meet you and your families!
We work with a large network of insurers to aid in your specific dental needs. We aim to create lifelong relationships between our office and the community so patients can achieve and enjoy the best possible dental health.
Dr. Leah Stroing grew up right here in Red Bluff, CA. She attended Red Bluff High School, and was an active member of sports teams, 4-H, and the student council. In high school she thought that she wanted to be a hygienist, so she worked through a regional occupational program at a local dentist's office, and participated in research for salivary testing at UCSF to gain experience. It was during this time that she realized that she enjoyed the nuances of various dental procedures, and oral surgery more than hygiene.
Dr. Stroing is a lover of science and helping people, and she found that she was able to fulfill these dual passions in dentistry. She began taking classes at Shasta College and University of the Pacific in Stockton, and ultimately graduated in 2007 from Chico State with a degree in biology. After having assisted in offices to pay her own way through college, in 2011 Dr. Stroing graduated with a doctorate of dental surgery from the UCSF Dental School, and decided to move home to Red Bluff.
Living closer to family and friends, she worked at Northern Valley Indian Health, providing oral care to the underserved and mostly Native population of the community for the last ten years. Dr. Stroing says she enjoys almost all aspects of dentistry, but that her favorites include treating children, and performing surgery. Apart from being able to practice dentistry, these spirited sisters have always hoped to own a practice and work together, so they jumped on the opportunity to build Stroing and White Dental together when Dr. Peters retired.
Outside of the office, Dr. Leah Stroing enjoys spending time with her husband, Casey, and her children, Sophia and Lincoln. She and her family love to be outdoors, and especially enjoy camping, riding bikes, hiking, gardening, riding 4 wheelers at the Dunes, and hunting for agates at the beach.
Growing up in Red Bluff alongside her sister Leah, Dr. Megan was an active student, participating in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, student government, 4-H and other activities. As a junior in high school, she started working as a sterilization technician and dental assistant at the same office that her sister Leah also worked at. After receiving her degree in Biology at Chico State, Dr. Megan was accepted into UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010 with high honors and proudly specializes in treating children, administering extractions, and restoring implants.
For over a decade, Dr. Megan White has worked in both a private practice and a clinic setting; serving smiles and treating patients of all ages. Up until recently, Dr. Megan worked at Northern Valley Indian Health alongside Dr. Stroing. When she isn't polishing grins, Dr. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, James, and their sons, Cooper and Declan. They enjoy camping, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. During her down time, Dr. Megan likes to jog and hang out with her dog, Chuck.
